Along with the progress of printed media, the other media appears as a source of information for the public, that electronic media starts from color TV to internet technology. Such as newspaper, this time almost everyone had a television in their homes. Television is a broadcast image catcher tool. The word television comes from the word "tele" and "vision" which has the meaning of each remote (tele) and looks (vision). So television means visible or can be seen from a distance. Television is paralleled with the discovery of the wheel, because this discovery could change the world civilization. In Indonesia 'television' is not formally called the TV, tivi, TV or tipi.

Broadcast television programs in general are universal, but their primary function remains the entertainment. Even if there are programs that contain terms of information and education, is only as a complement in order to meet the needs of human nature (Effendi, 2004).

The most important innovation contained in television is the ability to present comments or observations directly while an event takes place. However, please note that many public events have been planned in advance, the additional levels of actuality is also limited (McQuail, 1996).
